My 9 year old is a UC junkie. Has his bedroom painted with UC stuff, has all the gear, goes to most fo the games with his old man, can recite stats for each player off the top of his head, for fun - watches games that we DVRed all year for the 5th or 6th time.

He asked me this evening if it would be OK if he bought an Ohio State Jersey with his own money. Said with all the bad stuff and with how unhappy UC basketball seems to make people, he wants to root for OSU this week. Said they are his second favorite team and that they don't have all the other "things" going on.

I am losing my grip on reality. When is this nightmare going to end.

Yeah, my dog has always been a huge Bearcat fan. But tonight I saw his Bearcat jersey in the trash and he was wearing a Musketeer cap.

The world may be coming to an end.

You must fill the house with anti-OSU propaganda. I can picture the situation, little Rath, "duhduhdaddd, could you tatake me to the store so I can buy an Ohio St. jersey?" Rath obviously stunned, decides to fill his son with false hope "Dammit son, things will get better. I don't want you supporting those cheaters! Now get back in the crawl space!" Obviously, I don't have any kids, and with my luck with women, probably never will. Maybe you reacted differentley. No?
