Just when you thought it was safe to listen to local sports talk radio:

To get canned and then re-hired in a week......kinda makes you wonder who he has pictures of? Man, I'm even more thankful for XM Radio.
I thought you were talking about pondscum
I don't mind Matt but could not stand most of his co hosts.

That said I enjoy satellite radio. I might give it a test run for a few minutes but end up cutting Margaritaville on after a few minutes of people asking the chances of winning another National Championship 6 different ways.
I-heart radio. I can listen to whatever I want, anytime I want.
I just hate that Wimp Sanderson isn't on there anymore.
He was fun to listen to.

And no, that's not in blue font.

Wow, that takes guts to say that on here. So you better duck and get ready for an all-out assault on your rep points. 03-lmfao
Nah. When Wimp's in storytelling mode he's fun. When he's in entitled bammer mode he's annoying. Mostly he was entertaining, in small doses.

Wimp is entertaining and brought in high level guests. I said as much last week.

Just a reminder: Rep point abuse is strictly forbidden.
I liked listening to Wimp because I'm a basketball first guy. I will always have lost respect for his treatment of Bartow but I enjoyed his basketball insight and perspective.
I list respect for him due to his treatment of women among other things.
I think Wimp and Bartow had respect for each other and showed it after the careers ended. It's just they were in a war in the 80's for recruits and truth be told, neither treated the other very well. Wimp was just more public and cruder about it.

What you said.

AFWIW... Coach Bartow and Wimp became close friends after retirement.
I think this move is very temporary. They need someone to fill the slot for a few weeks before they make the move.

Well if you knew the entire (and real) story about what happened with Wimp and his secretary, you might change your mind.

But Coach Sanderson did have his flaws. Guess he must have been human.
Black eyes are hard to look past.
Never hit a woman.

Like I said, if you knew the real story......
He didn't hit a woman?
Self-defense.

No. (At least not on purpose.) He was actually in defense mode (and she was kicking his @$$). When he tried to block one of her hands to his face, that's when his SEC Championship ring hit her in the eye. Guess there's no easy way to break off an affair.

Like I said, he has his flaws, but "woman beater" is not one of them.
