AimHigh, thank you! I watched it and enjoyed every bit as much as I did seeing it live at H. B. Ballard Stadium at Foreman Field. This has been a great four years, and it is only going to get better. Hold on boys, it's going to be a wild ride!
Alum78- I love you sig line.

I paraphrased similar sentiment from a Cincy fan regarding Ohio State.

I wear an ODU shirt because I went to school there. You wear a Virginia Tech shirt because you went to Walmart!
87 days until kickoff
I'm excited for 2013 to will be a good measurement of where we are. But 2014 will be a good year to have showing the nayshayers we belong.

Here's to the excitment of growth in 2013 and making noise in 2014.

Now let's rock and roll fans.
80+ Days to Football.

60+ Days or so till Expansion news about ODU's Future Stadium plans and the University Master Plan (2013 version).

Where do we grow from here ?

STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED to number 28,000 soon.

OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY is exploding with growth. Its student body jumped from fewer than 20,000 a decade ago to more than 25,000 this year and is projected to approach 28,000 in five more years.

Buildings are sprouting to meet the demand for classrooms, research labs, housing, dining halls, recreational facilities and even green space. The past five years have brought more than $225 million of construction....

Athletic Director Wood Selig said at least 35,000 seats are needed. All 26 home games have sold out, and Selig said there is a demand for at least 13,500 more season tickets.

While any makeover of a campus master plan is significant, the addition of Foreman Field and its effect on ODU’s football program give this study a higher public profile than usual.

I Look forward to Expansion news and Football.......

planning ahead Old Dominion University has hired Perkins+Will to help update its campus master plan and lay out a course for the next 15 years. ODU has budgeted $675,000 for the project, which is expected to be completed in Jun 2013 New information Aug. 2013
Freaking awesome!!!

now we need to set our sights on gobbling up EVMS and calling it the ODU School of Medicine. no one can stop us... not even Chowan!
Yes it has been a long time since Chowan at S. B. Ballard Stadium at Foreman Field.

Sure doesn't feel like that long ago. I was just cleaning out my ol jeep and found a bag under the seat, inside was an ODU kickoff 2009 t shirt with the tags still on it!!! It was like a time capsule for me

On yea, found thundersticks!!!

Counting the days 'til Crazy Train.
Do we have any start times yet?
Maryland 4pm
Norfolk State 1pm
I was thinkin today...if schools don't travel I'm betting more bands and cheerleaders from schools will be here. I mean you can't have your stands empty if its a tv game and you have a small crowd of fans for say odu vs tx school. What do you think?
I don't think you will see Texas schools bringing their bands to ODU on any regular basis.
U r probably right. Maybe a pep band and smaller cheerleader squad.
I remember seeing the Liberty kick-off is 3:30PM

I need me some Crazy Train. I still laugh at the ECU fan who said watch out of their canon and it's a 1ft tall signal gun. Too funny.
