It got more ink in the Democrap today than on this board.
I am at the ball park. 5 rows up behind home plate. Beautiful night for baseball and wifi connection. I am probably going to need the umpire to get out of the way so I can see better
Saw MJS & LRT @ the game here. They are on different sides of the park. Just like they are on different sides of this board
Trojans come back from a 3-0 deficit and win it in the bottoms of the 12th inning on a walk off 2 run home run by Austin Pfeiffer. Good game and a good crowd. They need to schedule UCA every year, and play the LR game at Dickey-Stephens Park. Most likely the biggest crowd to ever see a Trojan baseball game.
Shout out to State Farm for Sponsoring this event again this year. Now if we could just get these two teams to play each other in Basketball.

I've heard rumors it may happen. I hope it does. With a little promotion I think we could get 4000+ at the Stephens Center for an early season game- something that never happens before January.

Yes, thanks to State Farm for their sponsorship of the baseball game. I'd like to see it continue every year. And it would be great to see us play UCA every year home and home. I think in time, those basketball games, as well as future baseball games between the two can become big events. It would also be nice to play both UCA and Arkansas State at Dickey-Stephens every year if possible when the Travelers are on the road.

Don't know who had the most fans last night. Probably UCA if I were guessing. They seemed to be louder than our fans, although we didn't have much to cheer about for seven or eight innings. By the time Pfeiffer hit the walk-off home run, many fans were gone.

As far as getting 4,000 at the Jack for a UCA game, you said that if promoted it could happen. We don't do that at UALR. Promotion seems to be a dirty word.

Primarily just on one issue. Good to see you last night Bob.

Unfortunately, I was one of them. I bailed after the bottom of the 11th. We were hitting the ball hard in the 10th and 11th, while our submarine-style pitcher was totalling dominating them before I left.
