The kid reminds me of Aron Rogers. Teddy is a natural born winner. He should run away with the majority of the awards and should be player of the week for a majority of the time. I salute the awesomeness of Teddy Bridgewater. Kid has top pick potential and game.

I think we are putting the cart before the horse. Teddy might be the odds on favorite, but has won or done nothing in the league to date.

Maybe I'm a little biased but I think Brendon Kay of Cincinnati has a great shot at being the top QB in the league. Very few mistakes, very few interceptions, runs the ball well, good command of the game, very smart player, strong accurate arm.

Wow you are really going out on the limb with that prediction. 04-bow
Teddy will be the Best QB in ACC not AAC. He will be 3rd behind Kay and Bortles in the AAC.
You guys are free to share your opinions of the QBs in the AAC. No problem here
Louisville fans have accepted the fact that Teddy will likely never play in the ACC. Barring injury, he should be a top 5 draft pick next year.

I hope you're wrong but I think you're right. lol
My biased opinion: If Teddy Bridgewater is at the top then so is Bortles. Bridgewater has almost better stats in every category, but Louisville ranked 105th in rushing, whilst UCF was 44th.

Louisville passes with a pure passer (no mobility, in terms of positive yardage, to speak of). UCF complements a powerful running game with a consistent QB who protects the ball (7 ints all season, with 3 at Ohio State), and sometimes had as much as 80 yards rushing in a game.

UCF earned 407.4 yds/game and 35.4 pts/game, while Louisville garnered 418.8 yds/game and 31.2 pts/game.

I give the edge to bridgewater, because while UCF was playing the likes of UTEP, UAB, and Marshall, Louisville was playing Syracuse, UConn, and Rutgers... a step up no doubt.

One thing is for sure. Friday October 18th is going to be fun.

I'd have voted for Bortles over either but for the George O'Leary junior year curse on quarterbacks at UCF. For some reason his quarterbacks seem to digress over their careers. Bortles has all the tools though.

He'll be a senior in ECU's first year in the AAC. We'll revisit this thread then. 04-cheers
I will agree that Bridgewater will be the "BEST QB" in the conference next season... That's not a slam on anyone else. Bridgewater, as a QB, is the real deal...including winning a game while playing with a broken wrist.

But simply having the "BEST QB" is not a predictor of success. You have to have receivers and RB's and a whole defense. Bridgewater is the "BEST QB" in the conference, but I think UC is going to have a more rounded team as a whole.

But anyone who thinks Bridgewater hasn't "won anything" or will be "third" wasn't paying attention last year.
Too many variables. There's always a freak accident a'waiting in football.

Pretty good break down but DeVante Parker is currently listed as a 1st round pick at WR for next year too. Also Gerald Christian is eligible at TE this year and the coaches have said he's the 2nd best player on the team behind Teddy. Time will tell, of course.

LOL -a football game has yet to be played in the AAC. How could he have done anything, when no games have been played?? Now the question is, is Teddy the best in the new league. My comments were, not one football game has been played in the AAC. Therefore, we are putting the cart before the horse. Teddy is the favorite I suppose to lead the league, but to state "he will be the best QB in the AAC" is a little early to tell. It's like a typical UL fan. I know you guys are legends in your own minds, and I know that because UL is going to the ACC, UL fans feel they have this league won. Don't think so fast. I think this league will be more difficult than last years Big East. I'd personally like nothing better than to see UL put in it's place with a 3rd place or lower finish. I see that as a possibility. UL has won nothing either by the way. Would be a great send off to the ACC uh?
Bortles will give Bridgewater a run for his money and if I had to pick between the two I'd take Bortles anyday. Birdgewater is on a better team so Bortles is handicapped in the race. Watchout for Houston's QB who could breakout this year as well.

Didn't include my guy Shane Cardin since we don't play in the league next year, but in 2014 he'll give all a run for their money.

This is true. UCF fans have hope for Bortles to break that mold. First QB to grow up in OC Charlie Taaffe's system.

Bridgewater is the best QB in the league. Bortles can be in the top 3. But it's hard to see him competing. UCF's style of play will never let Bortles have the stats needed for recognition. Bortles didn't come to UCF to be nominated for QB awards.

Teddy does all that and aSugar Bowl. UCF hasn't done that.
Results speak for their self. So we will have to wait to see the 2013 football results to settle this. However, 2012 says other wise. 07-coffee3

So we can hype up QBs like Bortles who performed worse than Teddy, in an inferior league but we can't hype up Teddy because he "hasn't played in the AAC yet". What!?
