Hope the city of Memphis is alert to what is happening. This next month is going to be special. It is going to be like nothing the city has ever experienced, & possibly begin the process of winning over skeptical fans in Memphis & all across the region. Forget how the Tigers have brought a city together. This will be something where Tiger fans, & all those SEC transplants unite. The Hawks are always behind. The Grizz have an opportunity to win the whole region from Arkansas to Alabama to Kentucky & yes even from Nashville to East Tennessee, & usher in a whole new era of young fans. I was at a house warming party tonight in Dallas. The game was on. Kids in dallas were referring to the Grizz as "we are winning" & go ZBO! Yeah, ZBO & Gasol & Conley are becoming house hold names.
Good mix of guys to bring people together.
It may be 10-15 years down the road. We've got to get the other areas of the region lukewarm about NBA basketball. Then, we win them over. Absolutely got to expand TV coverage. That is the absolutely only way to do it. Broadcasting 6 games in Little Rock ain't gonna cut it.
