All-American Chris Gatling played center for the Monarchs from '89-'91. He was a great talent but a cancer on the team. It seems he is now a cancer on society.

He made over 30 mil in the NBA and was traded 9 times, many of them as blockbusters and played in the 1997 all star game.

Be careful about accusations about Gatling, his lawyer is apparently going after sites.

Ah yes. Chris Gatling. One of Tom Young's gifts to ODU. In mixed company I cannot say what my nickname for him was but it is involved with the fact that once the ball was passed to him it would disappear until it either went through the rim or bounced off of it for a rebound opportunity. Truly a selfless team guy.
