Napier returning to UConn is all over twitter. Conference should be loaded next year. Heck all of college basketball is loaded next year with players staying in school.
I'm really hoping that we make a run at the title next year. I think it's quite possible. I'd love to see Coach Ollie winning championships this early in his career.

Mohegan – Mohegan Sun officials have inquired about playing host to the American Athletic Conference's men's basketball tournament in 2014, casino sources said Friday.

The AAC is the name of UConn's new league for next season.

Mohegan Sun made a bid for the AAC women's tournament earlier this week.
What does the arena look like there? I wouldn't mind it. Watch bball during the day, gamble at night.

BB during day. Gambling at night. Sounds like heaven.
Louisville and Connecticut figure to be top 25 teams. Cincinnati and Memphis expect to be tournament caliber teams. So I wouldn't necessarily say "loaded" but certainly on par with the PAC-12 and Big 12 at the top. The bottom will be pretty bad though.

I know you meant to say 'Louisville and Memphis figure to be top 25 teams' --- so I'll let it go. Do it again, maybe not.

UCONN should be loaded next year. I expect UCONN to make a final 4 run.

PG: Shabazz Naiper/Boatright/Terrence Samuels
SG: Omar Calhoun/Boatright/Samuels
SF: DeAndre Daniels/Giffy/Tolksdorf
PF: Nolan/Facey/Orlander
C: Brimah/Wolf

Weakness this year was rebounding, which has been addressed. Guard position is loaded with experience. Rodney Purvis will practice against these guys and make them better. I expect the Huskies to make a final 4 run next year.

You implying Memphis just hopes to get to the tournament?

I am not going down this road again. I see Memphis fans continue to be hyper sensitive. I will just leave it at that. Read what I initially wrote and take it however you'd like..07-coffee3

I figure Memphis to be a top 25 team. I can't speak Cincy.
Only 2 AAC teams are ranked in CBS's preseason Top 25.

#3 - Louisville

#16 - Memphis

And that does not really mean any thing until the season is getting near tourney time. 07-coffee3

10,000 seat arena, home to the CT Sun of the WNBA. Arena's built in the same complex as the casino, hotel, restaurants & shopping area, so it's a win-win for sports fans who like to gamble.
Wouldn't surprise me to see all four teams (Louisville, UConn, Memphis, and Cincy) ranked in the top 25 for the better part of the season. How is Temple looking next season?

Given that Temple is losing 4 of their top 7 players, including their 2 top scores, 2 top rebounders, 2 top assists leaders, and 2 top 3-point shooters . . .

And given that they don't have anything special coming in . . .

I'd say, not good. 07-coffee3
