The ACC GOR is great news for the AAC. It appears that expansion among the power 5 is basically done for a long time now. The Big12 may expand back to 12 or go to 14, that possibility is still there, but I think they will want to stay at 10 and play a round robin FB schedule for awhile. If the Big12 does elect to expand, I think it will be to add BYU and UC. If only one school is lost, then the AAC wins and they simply backfill with USM.

Now it's time for the AAC to come together and build something special. It sure was a tough time for the schools, but in the end I would say that expansion has produced the maximum benefit for all schools involved. I think it's no stretch to say that we are all better off now. Here's to the AAC. I'll be watching AAC games and rooting for their success whenever they make it over to the ESPN or ESPN2. 04-cheers
Good you and Pitt can move on and quit posting here.

Not a bad troll. I think most in the AAC feel that the "stability" we have is the kind that occurs during a game of musical chairs when the music stops and you're the one without a chair. You wish things were still in flux because you've been let out in the cold. 03-banghead

Only one thing to do here -

What irks more than anything is the INSULT of tv deal the AAC was giving.

Weak sauce.

We'll all be there supporting our teams in the Fall for that AQ spot. The only one left without a chair is you Quo.

It wasn't meant to be a trolling attempt at all. I'm just glad that everything is largely settled so that we can all move on to more important things - like root for our schools. Besides, now the AAC has stability to work on building a brand for itself. Really it is good for all of us.

Expansion did not produce maximum benefit for UC, USF, and UConn. It did for your team Pitt, however, so you may want to post this on the ACC board.
