we need to draft archie goodwin, and sign Tyreke Evans and upgrade the 2 spot and get more athletic there...If we can play Tony Wroten more and sign Tyreke Evans and then draft Archie Goodwin to become our 2 guard. Imagine Wroten at 6-6 Pg then Archie Goodwin and his explosiveness off the dribble and athletism and at times have Wroten at 6-6 pg and Tyreke Evan at 6-6 sg with Pg capabilities now you talking major matchup nightmares for opponents....The World Is Ours Memphis....
I don't get the whole how is their bench so much better than ours argument. It's pretty simple to me, 2 of there 4 best players are on rookie contracts, and its LA so free agents want to play there, and are willing to for less money. They aren't going to be this deep next season. Paul and Griffin will be max deals, and they won't be able to afford Crawford along with half that bench.

I highly doubt Paul is in a Clippers jersey next season

The article in the link above got it right and saying the Grizzlies will need a major revamp to do anything better than what it is doing right now. I don't like trading Zach in the offseason, but at this point it is right thing to do. Lionel Holllins will be gone no matter what happens in the postseason.

Maybe he does not like the coach or the chemistry of the team, or maybe he wants to play for a different team. It could be simply he does not believe the Clipper roster as it is will not get to the Western Conference with San Antonio and Thunder ahead of them for the forseeable future.
Because being 1 game behind of finishing 3rd in the West is a HORRIBLE spot to be in, especially since one of the top teams in the Spurs is NOT going to stay as good as they are for long.

why would he leave?

Because Nash could be possibly done and he could play his home games in the same place with a different name on the jersey. Not a Lakers fan but could see that happen.

I wonder whether even Chris Paul has the stones to leave one LA team and free agent sign with the other one, the biggest rival. Very interesting question though.

The Lakers are waiting on Lebron to opt out of his current deal in a couple of seasons.

And we've been saying this for how long about San Antonio?
This article looks a bit silly this morning.
