2015 ODU Recruiting Offers (Already)
Armstrong Receives an ODU Offer
Class of 2015 Wide receiver Trevion Armstrong (Chesterfield, VA/Matoaca) received his first scholarship offer earlier this morning from Old Dominion. ODU coaches visited his school to discuss the offer and the program that is being built in Norfolk.
“I just got my first offer from Old Dominion,” Armstrong told Monarchs247. “I am so excited. I am ready for more offers to come; I told my mom ‘my first one is going to be in my favorites because they are the first to give me a chance.’
Coach Dee came to see me and said they really liked my tape.”
Since Armstrong is still a sophomore, his offer from Old Dominion cannot be finalized for some time…. “The offer is verbal now; [Coach Dee] said today ‘we are going to offer you.’”
Although Armstrong has never visited campus before, he has a strong connection to the school through friends who are currently students at Old Dominion.
“I have a lot of friends that go to ODU, so it will be a comfortable place.”
Armstrong is planning a visit over the summer
to Old Dominion to view the facilities and meet the coaching staff. The 6’4” wide receiver has interest coming from Virginia Tech, Virginia, East Carolina, N.C. State and more.
