There's a decent chance we're gonna have a Duke going in the draft sometime this weekend.

CBS has Earl as the #7 Guard and projects him to go in rounds 4 or 5.

NFL.com has a mock where he goes in the 7th round to Miami.

Anyone with ESPN Insider access that can tell us what their talking heads are saying?
another site I saw has him as a 4th-6th rounder, with a high of round 3

any way you look at it, will be the first JMUer drafted since Arthur Moats/Scotty McGee a few years ago
I think the Skins are gonna pick him up in the 5th round.

skins/jmu fans always think they are going to draft JMU players... haha

I've seen a few places the Dolphins like Watford enough, they might draft him a round earlier than where most teams have him

That would be awesome and might actually be a good fit. The Skins could use some depth and the offensive system with RG3 has some similarities with what JMU ran.
49ers in the 5th round. That's my prediction.

I was actually thinking the 49ers would pick him up as well.

Watford mentioned in the above article, and is projected to go to the Texans in the 5th round by Scouts Inc as of today.

He's a good fit for the system but so far as making a team that's probably not the best place for him to go. The 49ers are already loaded with talent and have a ton of draft picks this year to boot. They are likely going to end up having to cut numerous quality players that can make rosters elsewhere. Best case in SF might be a spot on the practice squad but he very well could just end up as camp fodder. If he's cut it would be tough to make another team that close to the start of the season being a rookie.

That'd be awesome. I was so pumped when they picked up Skolnitsky, too bad he didn't end up making the team.
So the draft starts today.

Is Caussin still on the Bills' practice squad or did he make a roster?

Mickey utilized Mike's talent at TE to the max03-hissyfit

Caussin signed a new deal with the Bills about a month ago. Not guaranteed to make the team, but clearly they want to bring him back for a look when healthy.
DJ still with the Ravens.
Earl was just mentioned after a pick "at the East/West game, he and Earl Watford from JMU are the two offensive linemen that really caught my eye."

I believe the pick was Terron Armstead, OT, out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Hopefully Earl gets picked in 4th or 5th tomorrow.
