Full Version: Poll - Remove the OT Sub-forum?
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
Some of you have expressed a frustration with this sub forum not being visible enough to be relevant, and to allow all OT posts in the main area.
It'll be interesting to see how many people see this to vote on it 03-wink
Nice voting turnout 03-razz
I say keep it where it is. It keeps off topic posts from cluttering up the main board which is supposed to be for ODU sports. People can click to read the daily off topic stuff if needed.

Or, post OT stuff on the main board for the initial publicity, then move it to the OT board after a couple of days.

Nothing is written in stone.

Agreed.
I think that two recent threads show the need for this sub forum..... 07-coffee3

I think the difference is those threads became pissing matches and were sent here to die. OT threads where people are contributing and engaging with each other can be good for the board but don't seem to catch on in here (because this is where we send threads to die)

Agreed. That's why I moved them.
Since the OPs were legit though, don't you think it's good that there IS somewhere that they CAN go to die? (uhhh..the threads not the posters 03-lmfao)

Other OTs are still on the main board, and can and will stay there. 04-cheers

Ah yes, that's what I had in mind, I thought you meant that OT's should only be started here. Certainly if they get stupid (once again the threads not the posters) banish them.
