I went to the game, it was a beautiful day. We had decent attendence, I was happy.

Going in to the spring, our biggest questions were at the runningback position, and of course the defense.

At runningback, we look fast. We had three kids rotating in, all three are pure scat-backs. We will have to find a bruiser for the goal line, or we're sunk. Between the 20's we'll be great though.

The defense was much improved. Our starting offense went deep a lot early, Corey showed off his arm. The first quarter was all offense, which is what we all expected. However, the defense found their groove in the 2nd and started making plays.

The DB's looked solid once they got their feet under them. A couple early deep TD's got them mad. I think we can expect much better play from that position this fall, thank God.

Linebackers didn't impress or dissapoint me. This has always been a good position for Troy and I expect that to continue, despite the loss of Brandon Bryan.

Our D line is huge as always, good luck everyone.

If these Corners and Safeties can step up and play, our defense will be back. Troy has been getting beat deep for years now, even with NFL players out there. I think Wayne Bolt is going to make us proud of the D again.

Also, we swept UALR in baseball this weekend. COGS
