Hopefully this nasty situation is over. Wish him luck at VSU. Anderson said he holds no grudge against JMU, and he will graduate in May.
Glad he has a place to go. Best of luck, and tear it up.
A few months back someone said he was going to W&M. What happened with that deal?
It may be a case where if he wanted to play an extra year he would have to drop a level. There is a player in Harrisonburg who use to play for URI and he has been trying to get a 6th year and from what I understand he also has to drop a level. He really wanted to play at JMU.

Not true... since he graduated he can go anywhere he wants (ex. Russell Wilson)

As long as he enrolls in a Graduate Program that his previous school does not offer.

That still isn't true.

edit: I was wrong...

A: Are there different rules for graduate students?

Student-athletes who have graduated are subject to the same release requirements as undergraduates and must have at least one year of eligibility remaining. To be eligible for the one-time transfer exception, football, basketball, baseball and men’s ice hockey student athletes must have been denied a scholarship renewal at their original school. If the student-athlete wishes to pursue a degree program not offered at the original institution, he or she is eligible for a waiver to compete immediately at the new school.
Gonna miss him, I always really enjoyed watching him run.
Anderson was a good back ... he had grit and intelligence. JMU will miss him ... too bad ... good dude ....
I still say there is more to this story than what we were told. Maybe only a little more, but still more.

he was a huge variable, you never knew when he was gonna break for one. I am going to miss him too. I never stressed when Scott would get hurt, knowing he could fill in just fine.
He will be running with a purpose next season. Can you imagine that guy playing d2 ball and running mad. I pity the defense that has to stop that guy next year.
I suspect he is going to hurt the hell out of some linebackers and defensive backs ....... nothing like a little motivation to fire up an engine!!!

I have always thought Anderson is a better/stronger pure running back than Scott.

I always thought this was a bad move on Mickey's part. I get that Mickey knows the program best and wouldn't dump a player for the wrong reasons, but as it turns out with our injury related depth issues at RB, we would have certainly been better off having Jordan as #2 than the safety they moved over.
I'm not convinced he wouldn't have been our best #2 option even if all others remained healthy. Have any other of the backs after Dae'Quan on the depth chart put up a 200 yard game in college? Nope.

This was confusion and misinterpretation on the boards over a tweet he made. He was referencing his brother, who will be a freshman at W&M. Many on here thought he was speaking of himself.
