Marc got some good props from a few ESPN writers. Unfortunately, there are still those that will sip the Tim Duncan kool-aid for decades, but they got it right in stating that he is our most important player. Good read. Hopefully he comes away with the Defensive Player of the Year honors as well.

I totally agree with what you say regarding Tim Duncan and the great season, but for what he does for the Memphis Grizzlies, Marc Gasol should be All NBA Team. That would be a great honor for him and the Memphis Grizzlies.
Marc has a full page write-up in this week's Sports Illustrated that sings his praises.

I completely agree
Marc will be All-NBA and that's a sign of respect. I understand he's not first team because we don't get the national attention and he doesn't put up huge numbers (17 and 10 in year 16 is pretty big). DPOY he deserves, but I'd be shocked if he won.

I read The Bleacher Report put Marc Gasol on second team All-NBA as well.
