There are only 33 at-large bids-----and a lot of those picked over UT went 0-1 in the NCAA (and hence dropped in the eyes of the pollsters)whereas UT went 2-1 in the WNIT. Still, on the surface, it does seem a bit bizarre.

There are only 33 at-large bids-----and a lot of those picked over UT went 0-1 in the NCAA (and hence dropped in the eyes of the pollsters)whereas UT went 2-1 in the WNIT. Still, on the surface, it does seem a bit bizarre.
And there were 31 auto-bids. I bet 10 or so of those auto-bids finished ahead of UT in the poll.
