Arkstfan started a thread on the Sun Belt board. Don't know who, but it always seems like he has great connections. Says the chances of NMST being granted full membership is increasing (That would be great). Also said there is a school that would get unanimous support, that wants in, but wants to delay for a year to get their ducks in a row. He doesn't say, but others speculate it is MoState. Also says no one supports membership for Liberty.

I had read where the JMU board meets tomorrow, so we may know something on that end pretty soon. I'd like JMU basketball, but JMU football only and NMSU all sports would be much better for the conference overall.

Agreed. NMSU brings a lot, a whole lot, in basketball. JMU has a pretty good situation for basketball in the CAA. They just won the CAA tournament to go to the NCAAs. I think they would jump to the SBC in a second if offered football only.

Those would both be good basketball additions.
