CIT champs.
Tennis?
**FINAL**
in Ogden in the Championship Game of the CIT,
Weber State- 74 (30-7)
East Carolina- 77 (23-12)

*Akeem Richmond hits a 23-foot contested three-pointer at the buzzer to claim the win for the Pirates.

Weber State had won 14 straight at home and 17 of their last 18 overall. Nice win by the Pirates.
Good for them. We (the conference) need for them to continue stepping it up.

Didn't Southern Miss lose to BYU in the regional finals?
This is a big deal. I believe this was their first ever post-season basketball tourney.
Hang a banner from the rafters, y'all...

Yes, but that refers to their NIT championship 26 years ago.
Good job, ECU. Maybe Lebo will finally get something going there.
Hey they went out winners

I don't think it was their first ever tournament; but this year, they did get their first ever post-season win. I just looked, they made the NCAA in 1972 and 1983, and the CIT in 2011...all first round exits.

Although it is fun to poke fun at schools for their lack of basketball prowess, we need our conference mates to step up their game. We, however, need to step up our game on the gridiron...and I feel we have the right guy at the helm for that.

NO NO NO!!!! That might cause our BB players to forget how to shoot free-throws or some other catastrophic failure that would hurt Tiger Basketball...
Congrats to fellow AAC members East Carolina, and to PeeDee the Pirate and all his mateys! Aaaaaarg!
Congrats to ECU and their fans.
