I like the bigger screen but I am not sold yet. I can still take it back. Anyone have an opinion?
You should have gotten the Galaxy S4 or held off for the iPhone5S but thats just me. I always have the lastest gear.
Ask CD/CD1's dentist son.
I have the Galaxy Note 2...and I love it. Big screen, but after a few days I got used to it. Now, whenever I see a friends Iphone I am so glad I don't have one.

I spend a lot of time on the net and texting so I was afraid my fat finger would struggle with the iPhone. This will turn sideways and have a bigger key pad.
The new note was huge... looks like a tablet

Yeah, its big. I use it for the net and texting as well. It came in handy during the first two days of March Madness. Pretty good for hudl too...
i recommend sticking with the S3. it's a much more solid all around phone. will take a little bit longer to get the hang of, but it's a much nicer phone
Iphone is overrated (just like everything else Apple makes)

Keep the S3.
Not having flash sucks... why is that? Our kindle hd doesn't have it either.
it's being phased out as a mobile option. Most popular sites are transitioning over to HTML5 which eliminates flash and is hardwired into every browser out there.
Data phones are turning us into social retards. College kids don't even know how to carry on a conversation over dinner. There's a problem when 6 kids are eating dinner and rather than talking to each other they're texting, tweeting, or updating on facebook......................"Having dinner at Applebees with six friends, what up with you?"

Caught my 70 year old mother in law texting over dinner.

My neighbor pays $250 a month for a family data plan. Wasn't that long ago I was calling Ma Bell to question a long distance charge on my $40 phone bill.
I've heard good things about the Nexus 4 - it's at or near the top of my list. My current Droid 2 is just over two years old, so I'm due...

(Not just because it hit the magical two year mark, mind you - it's getting slower than molasses).

This.

My favorite ski area didn't have cell coverage at all until this year.

I had company over the holidays, on the way up to ski I at the last second decided on hitting this place because I was sick of the rude behavior with the smart phones from all four people. You should have heard the surprise in their voices when we got there! "Hey, no CELL SERVICE!!".

It was great, they all noted that in the lodge for Apres that no heads were buried in phones, people were actually conversing and having a good time. Go figure.

Of course, AT&T came along and effed that up this year with a tower on the pass. Now quite a few have service.

My friends and I have a rule when we go out to dinner to make sure we aren't all on our cell phones. We put all our phones in the middle of the table when we sit down. First one to grab their phones pays for all our meals. Seems to work out pretty well.

I'm still rocking the original Droid 04-rock

Yeah, I dunno what it is. Not that I haven't installed a ton of apps and such, but it's getting pretty bad. Have to reboot it a lot more than I used to.

I just like the newer versions of Android so much better, too - so I'll probably upgrade at some point later this year.
Stopped in at Tosi's restaurant in Stevensville on my way home from Chicago the other day and they have a few rules... NO Hats and NO Cell Phones... Great place... great food... and every table had what looked like actual conversations going on! Those rules alone will be one huge reason I recommend that place... the food was amazing and service was top notch...

Don't tempt me...

But yeah, I'm definitely thinking it would be nice to go N4 + prepaid. Company pays my phone right now but I'd prefer to avoid a contract in case that changes in the future.

I've had VZW for over a decade but at this point, I don't care who the provider is as long as I have good coverage. Everything's unlimited so the whole in-network vs. out-of-network thing just doesn't matter much any more.
