Not sports related, but just a quick shout out to my son Nate, who this past week, auditioned for, and was accepted into the US Marine Corps Band... Nick the Quicks' younger bro, ships out to Paris Island SC. for boot camp in August, then on to training at the US Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk VA. at a later date...

Nate started playing piano at age 7... I think he's up to 8 instruments (Alto sax, Melophone, French horn, Flute, Piccolo, Trumpet, and Bassoon -which is what he will be training for in the Marine Corps Band) ... He was also the drum major for the Whitmer HS band this past fall... I guess it's safe to say that music will be his meal ticket ...
