Does this look exciting to you?

The two fan bases look down on, trash talk, and generally despise each other. Both sides refuse to call it a rivalry and say they simply don't care.

Our crowd for Troy this year was larger than any Troy home game ever.
is that picture of a UAB vs Troy game?
We want UNT

Wrong... You had a little over 28k and we had a attendance of over 29k last year at home...

10-13k of your 28k was Troy fans...

No. Who knows who they are playing.
This ensuing crap fest will only further prove my point.

Initial number was only an estimate by UAB. The city released official numbers.

The Birmingham Park and Recreation Board, which oversees Legion Field, uses a turnstile count that includes band members, cheerleaders and media, said Kenneth Blackledge, the board's director. Troy, 29,229

If so much of the crowd in the Ham was Troy I wonder why they don't show for at Veteran's Memorial in numbers like that?

Ya ok. I was at that game and I don't even think there was 25k there.... If that's the case then we need to recount our game last year with the cheerleaders, coaches, band members, and bugs... Our attendance would be over 30k...
Lets also look at your other games outside Troy... Your second highest attended game was 15k.... And your game with Troy was 29k you say!? What does that tell you?

Thanks FloridaJag. Now we get to see Troy and UAB fans get into a "crapfest" with each other.

This thread belongs on the smack board now.

Those numbers prove the OP's point. Troy vs UAB draws more interest than either get from their conference members. No Troy vs. Sun Belt or UAB vs. CUSA game had over 29k people.
