Man after hearing about his piss poor work ethic and being called out by his own teammates I say we are better off without Shell. Hate to say that.,

IMHO, it's better that he leaves now that suffer 3 more years with him failing to live up to what he can really be - but him having just enough talent to give him reps or the starter job. Better to get another person like a DL who would basically try to run through a wall for the sake of the team than another primadona who can't rest on his laurels and still compete effectively.

Just an observation, but people like Shell don't appear to fit the Alvarez mold - unless Ron Dayne was as lazy and entitled as Shell...

Did this just come out of nowhere? I'll admit, after watching him play, I was wondering why Chryst didn't feed him the ball all the time. Is he a head case or what?

Big time head case... he had serious offers from Bama and O$U but his girlfriend got knocked up with twins so he decided to stay home. So basically he feels that he did the hometown team a solid so they should repay him with letting him do whatever he wants. If Wannstedt were still here I am sure that he would have.

Anyway... he came back from winter break not having done any of the physical requests made by the coaching staff and the reply was along the lines of "we talkin about practice". Chryst called him out, his teamates and other coaches are calling him out and nobody has dared do any of this to him before.
