FWIW: Just for fun I thought I'd see where we ended up for games at 5th 3rd.

No attendance figures were released for the Arkansas-Mont. game. We ended up averaging about 13 bodies shy of 10,000 for the other 16 home games. When you factor in the sellouts in conference play....Ick. Next year is going to be brutal....if they don't hire AK it could be a real laugher.

Might be a great opportunity to move down to the red sweater zip code. ;-)

Agreed Rath and I really don't think UC is going to be able to wait much longer...too many Duq. and other teams out their that may extend AK an offer more quickly if UC does not act. AK strikes me as a guy that would stick to a commitment if a smaller schools makes an offer an he accepts.

Let UC lose out on AK and get some MAC or MVC retread and the numbers could get real ugly. The expected poor performance due to a lack of recruits for next season will have bad enough impact, not hiring AK and things may very well crash and burn

which IMO needs to happen, if we ever want to return to the elite level we were under Huggs.

Home crowds seem to be down everywhere this year.
