Dafuq? It stays at top until you go to post. Is that intentional? This is very annoying. Is CNBBS gonna buy me a new phone after I spike it?
Be thankful for it. It helps pay for this wonderful server

I don't think he's talking about a Google Ad. There have been a ton of complaints from iPhone users about a giant Tapatalk ad if they access the site using a browser. I'm not sure if that is an Apple or a GTS issue...
Spend the $2.99 and donate money to GTS
I'm on android and a browser and I get it too. Yes, its giant and annoying. Three obvious solutions.. install Tapatalk, which I probably won't just because I'm pissy about it, scroll down and ignore it as I currently do, or make a small donation and get rid of all the ads, which is where I'll wind up.

There are far worse annoyances on the interwebs.
I don't have a problem donating the money.

1. If the servers don't crash often (like they did last night).

2. If I'm assured that the tapatalk ad won't be there.

I'm not sure that tapatalk ad is part of the "no ads if you donate" thing. I think it's something that embeds on a mobile device to download the app, probably with a referral link that credits GTS with some money if we buy the app.
See option two above.
I'm pretty sure buying tapatalk doesn't give GTS any money (or if it does it certainly doesn't give him the whole $2.99)

You can pay Tapatalk up front to customize your own app and sell it for 100% profit margin. I don't know if GTS did it or not...

But I imagine he wouldn't have a gigantic, experience-destroying ad on mobile devices if it didn't benefit him in some way. At least, I'd hope not.
It's probably required to use the tapatalk plugin for the bb software
Been to other board that have Tapatalk functionality that don't have this issue.
I'm a PC and I don't have this problem.

Just sayin'.

The desktop is dead tho, amirite?
Thank goodness that Goat can only post when he's on a PC
Amen.
It has an "x" on it. Click the X, or stop using whatever abomination of a browser you're using so you can see the "x".

I'm using the Safari browser for the iPhone. The most popular and supported mobile browser. It does not do anything when I press the X button.

Same for me. It doesn't even look the same as any other ads. It's bogus. Just saying.

Just because it is popular doesn't mean it's right. See: Internet Explorer.

Works precisely as I described on Android, Blackberry, and Chrome for iOS.
