You can tell all of that from 1 game? Hyperbole at it's best.

I am not exaggerating, or overstating the fact that the kid averaged 26 minutes per game, this season, and also averaged 6.5 assists per game, in 26 minutes per game of play. Very impressive. I was also not exaggerating or overstating the fact that he had 10 assists and 2 turnovers against Georgetown, a highly seeded team in the tournament, or the fact that his desire(his facial appearance was quite apparent, as well as the way he looked quite confident and held his head high. He sure wasn't scared, or apprehensive, with his style of play, and I am confident, from watching him just one game, that he plays every game with the same ardent desire.

A picture says a thousand words. What do you see?

Nice try, on knocking down my notice and assessment of a "true" point guard. You can't ignore the obvious.

UAB needs a point guard who has that same swagger of confidence. I hope they find one who can lead them to the NCAA Tournament. Right now, they don't have one. Taylor is average at best and he does not show outstanding signs of true leadership, confidence, or ardent desire. Maybe, with one season left, he will (learn) to play the game with more passion and leadership. Lets face it, a freshman is not going to step in next year and take Taylors place at the point.

Have a nice day.

Looks like a guy taking a major dump. The guy played well but falls short of all the praise heaped on after one game. Where was he on several occasions that his team turned the ball over because it was in the wrong persons hands? Does a pg with all of the accolades that you heaped on him understand at those moments he should come and get the ball? Could have cost them the game. When Georgetown started fouling towards the end, where was he? Again he should have demanded the ball. They don't win the game without Brown.

Thats funny! No pain, no gain?

Well, for now, at least he is not sitting at home, watching, like we are. He is in a fancy Hotel room, working on his game face, to scare the heck out of San Diego State, and possibly, help his team to beat them. He sure led his team to do a number on Georgetown with 33 minutes of playing time, ten assists, twelve points, six rebounds, and two turnovers. Not bad for a point guard who is not even six feet tall.

Thanks for that article. 1997 - 2013 is such a short time. Will it become the 6th Florida school to join a BCS conference? No mention was made of its enrollment, but I would expect that it, like USF and UCF, will soon be in the 30,000 to 40,000 range - gators and all.
