Obviously the Harvard win was tremendous. That's what makes the NCAA tournament so exciting. Occasionally a team that nobody thinks has a chance upsets a big dog!

St. Mary's came within a last second shot of beating Memphis. Must be tough to lose a game by two points or less and having to go home.
That's the thing about the tournament. Every team but one is going home unhappy!.04-cheers

It would just be nice to get the chance to go home from the NCAA tournament uphappy. We usually end up unhappy after the first Sun Belt tournament game.
UALR over Pacific?
I would be pleasantly surprised if we beat Pacific. We're in their neck of the woods in a different time zone. I don't know how experienced their team is, but they had a very good record. I'm just proud we're there. Any win is gravy, IMO.

They are a senior-laden team and they are at home. They have one of the best offenses in country. Hopefully, the haven't seen a defense as good as Joe's.
Defense will only carry you so far, as Wisconsin found out today. You still have to score more points than the other team.
Doesn't help to hold a team to 39 points if you only score 38. Unless we can turn Pacific over and score some easy baskets, we'll probably lose. In a half court game, they probably have more horses than we do. But if everyone is hitting on all cylinders, certainly we have a chance.
