I watched a video of the families reading statements after the sentencing and T.J. was almost smiling and laughing at some of the things the families were saying. Pretty screwed up.

He's amoral - doesn't know the difference between right and wrong, and doesn't care.
In fact he seems to be latest example of rising sub-culture that believes that murder - the more victims the better -is way to sanctify his-her life, even if that means taking it one's self.
This waste of semen just forgot to "off" himself or wasn't smart enough to get "suicide by police" and avoid arrest and trial.
And so, again - hopefully he lives and suffers a long time behind bars for his crimes.
I think it is all a show he put on to fool himself into thinking he is a tough guy. I'd bet a small fortune he will be crying like a baby his first week in with the real tough guys.
Put him in a cell with a couple inner city gang members or maybe a 1%er for a motorcycle gang, yeah I give him a week.
