Congrats to Southern, they played incredible and if they don't make it, the team that faces the team that got USM's spot will be thrilled to not have to duke it our with the Golden Eagles.

Continue to represent our rivalry with pride, Eagles, we know you will!

Certainly I hope USM gets in the NCAA, but I will be glad to be playing in the NIT as well. The fact this team is going to play in the post season at all is a tribute to the spirit this team has shown and the heart of a good team. Remember it wasn't suppose to be a good season and yet we finished 2nd in the conference and have upheld the toughness as well as the ability to overcome adversity. I am proud of this team no matter what.
