We beat up on Conference USA and next thing you know, Black, Shaq, Johnson, Jackson, Stephens, Crawford and Trey Draper are all going to get drafted. In reality, we are loaded with European players. He could play himself into the second round of this years draft. It's one of the weakest drafts in a while.

You don't know squat where some of these guys are going to end up! Shaq is just a freshman with a lot of upside, how do you know that he's going to be regulated to European leagues in 3 years? Geron Johnson has a NBA ready body, he's just now probably getting real looks by NBA scouts because of his trouble past, how do you know what's he's going to do next year as a senior that wont turn heads? I'm not saying everybody on the team is NBA material but those decisions are really up to NBA scouts, Teams needs at the time and how the players progress

Been saying for a while now that Crawford would have the best pro career out of that recruiting class. Never stopped believing that. He had a slump early this year but has really come on as of late.

They bounce around the d league and most end up overseas. If you're not a sure fire first round pick you stay put. NBA is the hardest pro sport to make it in...the rosters are small. It's a tough business. I wish all of our guys the best, but lets just enjoy them while they are here. It wasn't long ago people were posting how bad Crawford was and how he needed to stay on the bench. Then Crawford needs to be starting over geron. Gets ridiculous.

It's not that ridiculous considering how poor this draft is. He's played well of late and that's all that matters. If he keeps playing like this in the NCAA tournament, he'll get more attention from the scouts.

Hell, Sonny Vacaro was on with Vernon 2 days ago and said Crawford was the one player on this team he's heard buzz about. Said some scout told him he thinks he can turn him into an NBA guard because he has size and can shoot.

We always seem to have NBA scouts and team executives on this boards that knows more than the real ones.

Chris is a big athletic guard, 6'4.5 218 with handles and savy court demeaner that can shoot. Why wouldn't there buzz about him?
