Memphis finishes 16-0.

4th undefeated season in CUSA.

The only other school to go undefeated in CUSA is Cincy.

5th time in school history.

Great coaching job by Josh Pastner.
Congrats! I would have loved to see you guys at the Verizon Center here with that high flying kid on your roster. I missed last seasons game.
SMU women won CUSA

Congratulations......Memphis is by far the best team in Cusa and hope Memphis will go far NCAA to make all of our teams look good. I went to ECU/Marshall basketball game tonight (Pirates win) and notice Cusa school banners. As we continue to be attacked on Cusa board about all nbe teams leaving it became clear Cusa will be losing 6 or 7 (Tulsa?) of its schools next season, too. It is nothing more than a pecking order from top down. Also the bowl games will be the same.

Anyway, I would like to give a shoutout to our basketball team who finished fourth with a bye in the up coming tournament. No schools going to nBE finished above the Pirates. Maybe our baskeball is better than most folks think and I know Coach Lebo, staff, and players have shown ECU desires a full invite. Again, thanks for all support for ECU (please no attack we are all family here) and look forward to playing in nBE....hopefully in all sports.
There's no doubt ECU has improved significantly...keep it up, you guys might actually start enjoying a sport between football and baseball seasons...
I hate to say it(not really), but there is no reason to not expect the same type of dominant runs through this new league. Most of these squads will be same schools, and with all due to respect to UConn,Temple & Cincy, who else can match the Memphis 'war chest' when it comes to basketball?

Uconn just won a NC. Don't get too cocky now.

We beat you guys by 9 at your place with our starting center out.

Dude you just got beat by a Xavier team that UC beat by double digits. My opinion, you won't even be conference champs next year, war chest in basketball, what the hell are you talking about ? At best this year in the BE, memphis would finish 8th,9th or 10th.
16-0 in C-USA translates to 12-6 or 13-5 in the Big East in its current form (as of right now). That's pretty good.

As both a UConn and SMU fan, I'm glad Memphis is in the same conference with us.
Cincy I wish you guys would get over the hate fest. Memphis is getting back into form and we went 27-4. I will take that any day of the week. All this belittling us is very childish and ignorant. Get over it.

I agree. Going 16-0 in C-USA certainly does not translate to 16-0 in the current Big East or 16-0 in a future conference that includes Cindy, UConn and Temple. The days of Memphis going undefeated in conference play are likely over.
Congrats Memphis 04-bow Going undefeated in any conference, where you have bitter rivals throwing their best shots, is an outstanding achievement.
I won't say Memphis could of easily ran the table, but had this year been the first year of A12 play, but it would of been close. Probably 15-1/14-2.

nah, 13-3 or 12-4 at best. Would've been in for the 1 seed in the tourney but there are some tough road games in this league.

Go back the last two weeks and read all the posts before you come on here making a remark like that, you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. All we have heard for two weeks from Memphis, Ecu and Houston fans is belittlement of the current three universities.Shame you will never get to play in BE when it was a full strength, UC thought fans thought we were tough s*** when we joined the BE, you would soon find out how crappy CUSA really is. Read post #33 from" latest from a jerseyguy".
Wat are you talking about. Your universities will not work together to help this league and you wonder why we come at you. But hey maybe next year you can come close to evening the record against those woeful tigers. Learn your place and stop trashing a congrats thread. I do not think negative of concu but some of you really make me mad about this attitude towards our team.

SOS of 77 in the 11th best conference with the best win coming against #35 Southern Miss. We beat them in Memphis by 9 (in their highest attended home game all year I might add) with our starting center out. Yep they would've gotten 15 wins in the Big East 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

he never said anything about the big east. he said the A12. details are your friend.

btw, i still think 13-3 or 12-4 at best in the A12.
