Given Crumb's recent musings, I don't know if we want to win this game or not? Nonetheless, go Eagles, and happy Senior Day to DT, Jamell, and Matt!
Apparently the bookies believe that home court is destiny in the MAC.

EMU is a 2.5 FAVORITE at home (get out for Senior Day) today.

This is, I guess 20 - 20 hindsight because I didn't post it yesterday, but the bookies should have taken the Akron game off.

I think yesterday Akron was a 10 point favorite despite the Abreu distraction.

Abreu's sitiation isn't the same as if he was going to sit out a game because of a sore knee.

Having a star player facing prison is a real downer for ALL, not just Abreu.

Especially when he was supplying them their weed.

I kid, I kid.
I expect a close hard fought game. Good luck Eagles.

hahahahhaha

how well is Toledo going to shoot from deep, and how well are we going to do stopping Pearson? those seem like the big defensive questions.

on offense, will we get one of our surprise games out of the PGs, or is it going to be a turnover party? how good are Toledo's guards on defense?
Anyone tell UT the game started at noon?

03-shhhh
Great start!
39-37, we have gone on these short spurts.
This got ugly quick.
Such a soft team, that is all I can say

Toledo played like it was THEIR senior day.
Never thought this team would score 67 points and lose by double digits. One of our worst defensive efforts of the year, at home on senior day no less. Dominique Buckly practically stood there like a statue and lit us up. The back door pass was there EVERY time Toledo penetrated. Riley had one of his "I don't wanna be here today" games, and when that happens, we are F'ed.

Oh well. I like what Glenn Bryant and JR Sims have done late in the season. I'm optimistic that we will improve next year with some additions in the back court, and a potential stud in Ward.
Well, we're the #7 seed now officially which is not a bad road of teams to go through. All of the "hot" teams are on the other side of the bracket in my view. First round game against the #10 seed which is currently Northern Illinois. However, wouldn't you know it.. Miami is ahead of Ohio at halftime. Miami wins that game, we get them instead.
The way this team played today we will have a tough game against anyone.
I would love to see us go to CLE and beat WMU, we will probably trip up somewhere on the way, but still nice to dream and hope.

Is it really such an impossible dream to beat NIU and Bowling Green?

Probably so...:muttering:
