If they're only going to use it to justify their picks, but eliminate teams from smaller conferences with high RPI's for other reasons, then screw it. All it does is give hope to a team from the Sun Belt like Middle, and then, if they don't win their tournament, they become eliminated for other reasons, like how many games they won against Top 100 teams or Top 50 teams. And how many of those games, when they play them, are on their home court and not the Top 100 or 50 teams home court. It's a travesty. If they're going to have the RPI, then make it the determining factor. It's far from perfect but it takes the politics out of the choices, which will never happen because the power conferences want the power to make those choices. It's the old "Golden Rule theory". Those that have the gold rule!
