What do you think:

Here's mine:
Player of the year: Joe Jackson, Memphis
Coach of the Year: either Pastner or Tyndall at USM. A loss at Marshall probably lost it for Tyndall.

I think Swing and Rucker make all tournament teams. Probably Rucker on the second team and Swing on the third team.
POY: Josh Davis, Tulane
COY: Tyndall, SMiss
Freshman OY: Danuel House, Houston
Newcomer OY: Rod Rucker
I'm thinking Pastner for COY.
Player of the year is going to be interesting. There can be a lot of cases made for a lot of players. Kemp probably has a shot at it too. I think one of the 2 you guys listed or him will win that.
DJ Stephens at Memphis will get a look. He has a great backstory and Gary Parrish is writing a feature story on him that might influence some voters. He's basically an end of the bench guy who has asthma and looked to get no more than around 5 minutes a game. This year he has definitely turned the Memphis season around and is the most valuable player for Memphis even if he is not the leading scorer. He can also jump out of the building.

I assume you meant to say "all conference teams" instead of "all tournament teams." But if not, I like how you're thinking. If we get two guys on the all tournament team, I might be able to book a ticket to the first round site. It would also give you the early lead in Inspired Predictions for 2013.
If Pastner takes Memphis through conference play undefeated, how is he not CoY?

A guy off the street could coach Memphis through conference play undefeated.
