Bizarre story. Does anyone even bother to check transcripts in Memphis?

22 years old, all that subterfuge, and still a scrub.

I think we've got a working definition for "loser" in front of us.
The guy on the left looks older in the other shot I saw and that's not even him, lot of people would probably think so. They should have cropped that photo and left him out. Also you're 22 and can pass as a high schooler and your wife can pose as your mother. WTF, and WTF did he think he was accomplishing that he couldn't at some JUCO or D3 school. Surely if he is much of a prospect he could have went there.
He ruined what would have been a successful season for a bunch of kids. What a total POS.

I thought that was him too until the article said he was number 22. 03-lmfao

Wasnt there some issues with cuban/central american little league coaches doing this in the little league world series?
How does one approach their wife and say I want to go play basketball back in high school again

Yeah I thought it was the other guy when I saw the picture, then I read the name of the school.

Come on man. It's time to let go of the Derrick Rose fiasco. What's done is done.

Learn from the mistakes and move on. New conference, new coach, new AD and the probation was lifted in August.

"One City, One Team, One Goal"
well played sir
I thought this was standard in Memphis??

New Conference, new coach, new AD, same unending bitterness. I don't get it, TG, I really don't.

I haven't read through this thread, but Dwayne Davis looks older than LeBron...just saying...'course LeBron looks older than Oden....and Oden looks older than Pee Wee Herman....who cares?

Apparently he was married to a school employee who was 34. She agreed to help him get into school if he agreed to marry her. He also apparently cheated on her with a 19 year old student.

There is also an unrelated as of now story of an assistant basketball coach who was murdered recently.

You see the new Athlon preview of the Tigers? Some unflattering words about Coach 3-21(1-15).

Ok. Guess you really put me back in my place.

Oh wait. I forgot we're 27-4 with the ninth toughest non-conf schedule, so I guess I will stick around. And we're not really Sun Belt anymore. Guess you missed the news. And our kids actually have real high school diplomas. 04-deal

This ain't nothin'.
You want some real entertainment? Their team is 25-4, 14-0 and they recently question whether their starting center is playing drunk, pick any player name who is having an off night and follow it with "sucks", and they continuously bash their coach who just reached 100 wins faster than any of his predecessors. All of the above can be found in any game thread on MT.org.

Yet a select few still choose to come over here and accuse me of negative or bitter posting. My momma always said to get your own house in order before you try to tell somebody else how to clean theirs.

Congrats on the success this season....your first 20 win season since George HW Bush was president(the 90-91 season for the math impaired). Not sure that qualifies one for basketball smack talk...unless you are arguing with StillJonesing (you'll find out)

MTSU has lots of students from Memphis City Schools...just sayin...
