Personally, my first & only thoughts have been geared towards the company, not the teams in the league.
We had a case at work where an outside vendor performed work for us & we held the rights to the product. The vendor decided to sell the product to our competitors when they did not hold the rights to the product.
Something along the same line appears to be happening here.

I tweeted it to the UAB athletics twitter account. No response. I personally don't care quite enough to email whomever about it, but if someone else wants to step, I'd support it.
