Should be fired! there is no reason for almost 30 fouls 7 of which were Technical fouls to be called in one game.
looks like by almost 30 number was a little low....there have been 48 fouls called....and now 49 fouls and there is still 6 or so mins left in the game...
now 50. folks we are 10 fouls away from the NCAA record for most fouls in a game.
Must be the crew that called USA/ MT game. 54 I think.

I have no idea. this is the most fouls I've ever seen in a game.

That needs to be checked into. If it is the same crew then they need to go. That is not the sort of league we need to be.
lol.

both teams are built on fouling the schitt out of opponents.

what'd you think would happen when you meet?

looks like little rock is putting it away at the line.

i have 74-68 with 24 to go.

These were the officials for the MT/USA game:
Mike Stuart, Ron Groover, Ray Natili
the unibrow and his faithful goofball take down humpty grumpty 78-71.

Well i lost count of fouls but I'm pretty sure we went over 60 which means we now have the record.
well at final count there were 59 fouls called 7 of which were Technical fouls. 3 on UALR and 4 on ASU. Pitiful.
There were 53 fouls in the USA @ MTSU game. Our refs were Raymond Natili, Michael Stuart, and Ron Groover. I'd be very interested if the refs were the same because something needs to be done. Imagine if the USA-MTSU game was close! There would've been even more fouls than 53. I'm waiting on the box score but maybe someone already knows who they were for the UALR-ASU game...

Ray Acosta, Byron Evans, Kerry Sitton

Different insane crew.
Despite the refs doing their best to ruin it, that was a hell of a game. I may not like the red woofs, but at least they play in state teams. Good game, fellas.
Please don't construe my comments about the officials as complaining about the outome.

I tweeted at one point in the game that If Brady or Shields get dinged for complaining about the refs it will cement the league's reputation.

At another point (ASU was leading) Technical fouls and #5 and #6. Believe it or not the Sun Belt Conference alleges these are Division I officials.

I thought they were fair + incompetent = fairly incompetent.

If we had won you would have had legitimate complaints about that horrific game.

We had the same sucky officials and your guys worked a little harder to overcome it and we didn't. So you earned it.

Congratulations.
UALR needed the win and we got it.

The refs in the sbc have been bad on Saturday nights this year. These guys were bad but they were bad both ways. The game just becomes a free throw shooting contest at some point....
No excuse for this type of officiating. Sorry 'bout that folks, no one should have to deal with that nonsense. These refs need to be examined harshly by the SBC's main office.

Yes, and ASU didn't execute freethrows well enough to win.

Congrats.

I don't think ANYONE has said they were biased. Just bad.

But at least it wasn't at a pick
