Starting it early just because I just checked the spread and we are a 5.5 point favorite. That shocked me, hope Vegas knows something I don't.
Desperate team at home against a team with nothing to play for is why its -5. Also Napier may not play.

UConn looked pretty good against the best team in the Big East, hope you're right that they play with no passion today, otherwise I think we're toast.
If both teams play the same as they did at UConn, we should win at home. Plus Napier (and the 27 points he dropped on us last game) will be far from 100%, if he plays at all. We should be favored.
^ All good indicators. Let's hope that UCONN is tired from a deflating home loss in OT, banged up, taking UC lightly and not highly motivated. Hate to have to count on all that but the 'Cats need a win. It's been a tough week for our fans, conference distractions and all, so I'm taking UC to break out big-time and send the fans home in good spirits:
'Cats 70
UCONN 57
Anyone know what channel we're on...can't find it on the TV Guide.

Vegas consistently has us better than our record would indicate. I think they use a lot of computer numbers to generate spreads and since all of our losses are close ones we still rank pretty well with most computers.
I hope it shows up on Dayton's CW. It is not shown on my TV Guide listing.
My mistake. The game did not show up on my I-Phone TV Guide app, but going to TVGuide.com on my computer it shows the game being on Dayton's CW.

Maybe so,t we were 1 point underdogs the last time we played UCONN.

Now, according to covers.com we are 6-7 point favorites.

They must know Napier is not going to play or be hampered.

I bet he does play - and it might be a decent idea to guard him this time.

Or step and grind on his foot, one or the other. That is a joke by the way, sort of.
If you factor in home court advantage the numbers are pretty consistent. 1 pt underdog on road would probably be 2 pt favorite neutral and 5 pt favorite at home. I was more surprised we were only one point dogs in the first game.

He was still in the boot when they arrived at the Arena today.
Justin Jackson is in a walking boot and out today, per Chad Brendel.
Napier not starting today.

What's up with JJ?

Also, watching Louisville beat Syracure at the Carrier Dome with Siva missing every shot he took.
With out Napier we better not lose
Another quality Big East production. Our star guard is Fitzpatrick.
