Kinda disappointed in our schedule.

Our attendance is going to suck this year. No big name team coming in and no 6th game. The new rivalry with South should help though. You Jags better travel.
Wow Troy has 3 ESPN conf. games, we only have two...I hate weeknight games, will be our first ever home ESPN or ESPN 2 game. and its on a Tues. or WEd, ugh...We must be leaving conf. soon based on this schedul.....Did not do us any favors with three straight road games, Petrino did not really add anything to our tv games as we had two televised conf. games last season, only different being one ESPN or ESPN 2 home game vs. two espn u conf. games last season...Also surprising Lousiana has two back to back ESPN week night games both on road....I am surprised our home game vs. Ark. St. would not picked up by ESPN those have been some great games lately........I am glad WKU has only one home Nov. game, that will help our season attend. averages tremendously...

Five national games for the Cajuns is nice, and I guess it's nice that two of the three midweek games are on the road so the home attendance won't suffer for those at least. I'm curious about how many other games may be on the ESPN3 internet streams.

Weird then that we have seven home games - including Troy.

At least you get two. Texas St, Georgia St, and USA get zero. Way to welcome the new teams. Really really crappy of the Sun Belt.

Wouldn't that have been an ESPN decision? It looks like the Sun Belt actually tried to compensate by giving the newest members (Texas State and GSU) seven home games. (Though in our case, we will probably lose money on the seventh home game).

We only had 1 espn U game prior to last season (at MTSU) where we had two and our first home game 4 seasons later and did not have any our first season either conf games televised..If you are in the running and winning on field, you will get the Sun Belt Game of week on some channel I never heard of it, but I think those are picked up by ESPN 3 at least...........you have to earn those scheduled games on the field first, only fair...

You are probably right. And maybe its because we aren't in the ESPN contract. Howeverm the Belt should have fought for every team to get on TV. Even if its road games. The three of us will lose exposure opprotunities. I just think it really really sucks. The WAC got us TV games but the Sun Belt didn't. Heck this is USAs second year in the Belt and they still got left out. How long until that gets fixed? Nothing like telling news teams that we hve a tv contract you just won't on tv. I assume we will all still get our cut of the tv money even though we aren't shown.

The one positive is no Tuesday night games. Though I don't know why we play Troy on a Friday if its not on TV. Unless someone like LHN is picking it up later.

This is a good thing - you are in a less desperate conference now.

Not intended as a slam (especially since we are in the same boat), just stating that when you improve your conference, your place in the pecking order changes,)

True but I expected a road TV game. I would assume the TV contract would give at least one game on TV to each team. Oh well. Just have to win and wait for 2014.

.. .. and since it's the Sun Belt, you never have to wait long for the "pecking order" to change . .. as it seems someone's always leavin' . . . .
. . . my bad, didn't mean to "take a shot at the conference." More of a comment on present state of college football today . . . . and like the weather in TX, if you don't like it . . . wait a couple of minutes, it'll change . . .

Your game against the Cajuns will be televised on the Cajun Network. You should be able to find a feed somewhere.
