Buffalo @ Toledo - Tuesday.......11/12 on E$PNU/3

Imagine the atmosphere for a Saturday night game between UT/NIU.

I think it would be great. I've never been to the Glass Bowl so I'd like to attend, but with that being a weeknight game doesn't look like a possibility for me. All ik is if it was a Saturday in DeKalb late in November for all the marbles it would be great, I'd assume the same situation in Toledo. Yes, it's nice that the two best MAC West teams once again get a lot of TV coverage and that clash, but a weekend would be nice.
Here it is: http://www.utrockets.com/ViewArticle.dbm...=206564960

Sat 8/31 - @ Florida
Sat 9/7 - @ Missouri
Sat 9/14 - vs. Eastern Washington
Sat 9/21 - @ CMU
Sat 9/28 - @ Ball St.
Sat 10/5 - vs. WMU (Homecoming)
Sat 10/12 - BYE
Sat 10/19 - vs. Navy
Sat 10/25 - @ BGSU
Sat 11/2 - vs. EMU
Tue 11/12 - vs. Buffalo (E$PNU/3)
Wed 11/20 - vs. NIU (E$PN2)

Fri 11/29 - @ Akron (E$PNU/3)
Fri 12/6 - MACC (E$PN2)
4 of the first 5 on the road. Then 5 of 6 at home (with the 1 road game @ bgSUCKS). So the team won't truly travel anywhere for about 2 months.
The most important game on the schedule IMO is at Ball State, they will be just as good next year if not better and Muncie has never been a nice play for Toledo to travel to. We simply HAVE to win that game.
Whoopie, one home Saturday game in November thats the first I can remember for ages. Quick take a picture. [/align]
Got to love one home game in the first 5 weeks!!! Not!!!
Got to love an open weekend in early Oct!!! Not!!!
Got to love Buffalo on a Tue night on ESPNU or 3!!! Not!!!
Got to love NIU on a Wed night!!! Not!!! Know it was going to happen, NIU on a weekday, but why not the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, school is done but students still on campus and can go home Wed.
Got to love Akron on Fri after Thanksgiving on ESPNU or 3!!! Not!!! (really disappointed in this one, a chance for me to host Toledo fans in my home city and have a rocking time and its on the Friday after Turkey day and will probably be at 11am!!!)

Im sorry but the MAC needs to step it up and not allow any team to have back to back home weekend games!!! Such an attendance killer!!!

Every year I am hopeful that thinks will be a little better schedule wise and every year I am so disappointed!!!
Not only is NIU on a Wednesday night. It's at 8 pm. It'll be a cold, late night in the Glass Bowl.

We have 3 home games (out of 5 total) on a Saturday: Eastern Illinois, Akron, and EMU. Woo woo. 03-yawn
Ugh schedule.

There are three UT away games I would LOVE to attend.

Florida, Missouri and MACC!!!
That schedule is awful as far as I am concerned!!!

4 of the first 5 on the road.

No MAC home Games in September.

One MAC Home Game in October.

Three MAC Home Games in November.

Back to back weekday night home games, in November.

The only positive, that I can come up with is 9 Saturday games.
I love getting national exposure on ESPN and I know a lot of my friends only follow the Rockets when they are on national tv but these midweek games are getting old.

The bright spot is football on black Friday...even if only a few hundred might be there.
