I'm just excited for slu and what it means to be associated with the bigger programs that will be in the Catholic league. Slu's a top 25 team and was a top 25 team last year. They have done what it takes to take the next step from upper third and conference USA to perennial top 25 team they can win games in the NCAA tournament.
I'm ready for us to take that step too. I'm ready for us to start being top two or three teams in the conference every year and I'm ready for us to start being able to knock off the other mid majors whether it's here are away I don't want to get blown out anymore. I just want competitive salty basketball without tons of turnovers and the lack of scoring at times just kills us. i know some of the kids are hurt, everybody's got hurt kids this time of year.
The time has come that we need to turn the corner and start producing instead of just producing excuses year after year.
