At the Coaches Luncheon I think Coach Shields said there would be no divisions for next years 10 team league
Well with Middle gone next year, and us with NO More young players excuse, it should be interesting to watch the teams battle it out with everyone fighting in ONE division

I hope he's right! With everybody playing everybody home and home, divisions are pointless.
About time.

Steve also stated that he had heard "talk" about WKU leaving the Belt for Conference USA. Seemed like nothing more than a rumor. I have no idea where ConUSA stands right now with regard to the number of teams and where they are located. So I don't have a clue if there might be something to this, or just wishful thinking on the part of Western fans.
I used to lose sleep over this kind of stuff, but I really don't care at this point. Watching UTA, Texas State, and GaState instead of FIU, FAU, UNT, and Middle doesn't effect me one way or the other.
I'm lobbying for Stetson and Dr. Glenn Wilkes.

Is he still alive?
I think so. He coached at Stetson for over 35 years. Steve might well break that record at UALR. As far as I can tell, he's still running basketball camps. He's a Hall of Fame type coach. Won 674 games in his college career. I think his son, Glenn Wilkes, Jr. has won over 500 games as women's coach at Rollins College. Pretty darn impressive. Father and son have won over 1000 college games combined.
