So Georgia is currently they are 2-6. I just checked and they are usually average to poor in baseball. Any particular reason?

Georgia is very inconsistent in baseball. They usually have talent but their coach, Dave Perno, doesn't always seem to get the most out of it. They have had some good moments in their history, including a national championship in the 1990. They've went to the CWS four times in the 2000s.

Georgia appears to be bad. We took two out of three and Kennesaw beat them. We're up 3-1 early on # 17 Ga Tech. http://gseagles.com/watch-listen

GSU is 3-1 vs. UGA this season. That has to make both teams happy ;-).

My two favorite teams are GSU and whoever is playing UGA. UGA would have to be playing France or Al-Queda for me to even think about rooting for them (and even that is iffy, as I rooted for the French guy against the UGA guy in the marathon Wimbledon match a few years ago).
