I think most of us could come up with a better list than that.

Big 10 has a short list of schools it will consider.

After than, it will just stay at 14
I don't think the B1G is staying at 14. They are expanding. If UH[/code] is actually n their list, then that is pretty awesome. 04-rock
I think we are past the days of Notre Dame being the top prospect. I do think UNC has moved up into that consideration.

I also think UVA and GT should be rated above Miami.
why isn't Temple on that list
The B1G secretly wishes U of Chicago would restart their football team and rejoin as a member.
1) SMU's academics are easily good enough for the Big 10.

2) A list without UConn is idiotic.

3) This guy knows less about college academics and athletics than 80% of the posters on these boards.
That list is a joke. No offense to anyone. Half of those teams have never crossed the B1G's breath. They are just trying to sell rags.
No way Houston, smu, or Boise st are remotely accurate. No offense, just not happening.
Texas?
totally surprised to see SMU on that list!

Our academics and facilities are awesome...

but I just think if we are on their real list... we arent high on it.

This. UT is really 1B to ND's 1A.
Athlon 's circulation is down. They are just trying to get readers. That is BS list. 03-phew
It really seems like they're trying to draw up some controversy with some of the schools listed.
If they put smu and houston on the list, why not Rice. I could see the combo of UVA and Va tech. I like double up on markets in same spots, the tv folks probably would say the big 10 should drop purdue. Getting UVA and Va tech in one move is probably a lot easier politically.
Boise????
I just can't see UNC leaving their rivalry with Duke behind. Taking the pair seems more plausible.
That list was turrable.

Better yet, take them both along with GT and UVA. Throw in FSU and suddenly the Big Ten can shop around for the final spot.
