One about best singer, one about best guitarist... or am I 01-wingedeagle
..or have certain parties been 'banned' or whatever, thus 'eliminating' their threads? I may have answered my own question... ???

No problem, I just happened to try to find a post I made and found it there........and welcome to the CUSA board.

Man, this sucks. I don't want to shuffle from board to board. It's a pain in the arse. And based on what I just saw over there, nobody else wants to either. 6 threads have received posts today. Why bother to check a board like that? That is a board I have no interest in.

IMO, the majority of OT threads breaks up the monotony of normal posting and allows people to share some of the personal side of life with the those you post with daily (at least that is the way I view it).

I understand if OT smack is started and gets moved, but light-hearted OT threads seem to be a nice addition to the daily grind of this board. The soccer and word threads have been a mainstay since I joined. Do they get moved also?

7 of the top 34 posts are currently OT on this board....wtf
As a suggestion . . . If the mods truly want to limit this forum to C-USA sports talk. . . . Other boards have a "view new posts" button that allows one to view all the new posts together, regardless of in which forum they were posted. That would be a pretty nice option to have across the different C-USA fora.

I like that option as long as it is on the board....you can do that if you go to your CP now....but who really wants to navigate through all that?...hmmm, maybe it's time to start an OT suggestion thread.

Me thinks I am being picked on to be honest...and they were harmless threads that most seemed to enjoy.

Hmmm . . . I'll take your word for it, but I sure can't find it there. But if, for example, you go to the main North Texas board, there is always a "View New Content" button in the top right, available from any page you are on. (You do have to be logged in for it to work correctly). If you desire, you can tweak it so it only shows threads in certain fora. I rarely pay attention to what forum material is posted in; if the thread title looks like something I'm interested in, then I'll click on it.

But yeah. . . . I really enjoyed the music-related threads. Among the few where fans of certain schools weren't constantly belittling, berating, and beating on each other. 04-chairshot

I'm not going through the exercise, but your board has it right.

And yeah, when the board gets bored or ornery, I like to start threads like that....thanks for the acknowledgement of the 'why'.
