Yeah with bad weather, game time at 10 am, and coming off an embarrassment I doubt many are there.
Our guys picked up a 1-0 win over Ball St.

Starter (Adkins) worked eight scoreless scattering four hits.
So mu is the only road team

2,017 - UCF

UCF offered free admission for opening Knight.

2,000 is about where the current seating capacity (not including lawn or standing room) of UCF's baseball stadium.

UCF also used Opening (K)Night to unveil their Phase II Stadium expansion plans will be be completed prior to Opening Day 2014.
Tech pissed one away @UTA. 6-1 lead towards the end of the game and we lost 7-6 in the bottom of the 9th. Good win against Stanford for the Rice Owls. Looking forward to watching y'all when Rice comes to Tech later in the year.
Charlotte's Saturday game cancelled due to weather.
good to see the crowd at Southern Miss yesterday and to see another win over Missouri. I think we have a good team and the conference in general looks very tough. Should be a great season.
Granted it's no longer Opening Day but USM had another 3500+ crowd for game 2 today. Today's attendance was 3,529 to go along with the 3,517 yesterday. Another interesting stat that was posted BEFORE today's game went final was that USM is 85-2 under Coach Berry when leading after 7 innings so that can now be 86-2

Tulane is on the road in the Texas St tournament (round robin style)
3529 is even more impressive when you realize it was 52 degrees with a steady 14 mph breeze.

Techs baseball stadium seats 1200. Considering the competition might improve some has there been any plans to increase its seating capacity? I have been by and noticed some construction, looked like new ticket booth and maybe dressing room add on.
Rice
Friday: 4,317
Saturday: 3,879
Sunday: 4,041
Series total attendance of 12,237 most for opening 3-game series in Reckling Park history.

Rice wins the Sunday game, 3-0. Wins the series.
FIU sweeps Stony Brook (ranked #7 end of last season) 10-4, 3-0, 1-0.

They are expanding the locker room. One of the major problems with our baseball field is we don't have much if any room to really expand unless it's behind the outfield walls.

10,470 for USM's three game sweep of Missouri. We play our only true SEC road game of the season at Alabama on Tuesday.

Terrific start to the season, taking the series from #4 Stanford (our first series win against the Cardinal since winning the national championship series in 2003), and limitting their vaunted offense to just 4 runs in 3 games. Big John Simms took a no-hitter into the 8th inning, and Zech Lemond came on the record his 2nd save of the season. Defense was sterling (save for back to back errors on the first two batters of the game!), and the offense was again much better than the score might indicate. Each of the final four innings we stranded runners in scoring position, and in two such instances hit scorching line drives only to be hit straight at the CFer.

Must be some plan or ideas in place for future otherwise cant understand why they would spend money expanding locker room or anything else. The highway right of way outside right field line and railroad right of way beyond right outfield fence leaves only the left field line which is where I expect they would or could add seats.

Where are Memphis, Houston and Tulane? Last I checked, they were still competing in CUSA basebll.
