Anybody watching it on FX?

I'm hooked. Last week's episode was intense.

FX is kicking the big boys asses.
I am. Great show so far. Has me rooting against the US Government during the cold war. I feel dirty.
Very good so far. I like the 80's soundtrack.

House of Cards (Kevin Spacey) on Netflix is another new series that is very addictive. Even better because you can watch all 13 episodes in a row if you wanted.
I'm a fan and have been trying to get my friends to watch it so I have someone to talk about the show with.
I'm waiting to make sure the ratings don't continue to fall before watching it. I'd hate to get invested in a show only to see it canned after one season.
I've been watching it also, really like it so far.

I saw the first episode and liked it and am now in the process of deciding whether to try to catch up or not (see below). Factoring in is that I also have a hard time taking the Russian point of view. POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT FROM FIRST EPISODE: I was already rooting for the husband to finish his plan with their hostage in the garage scene (although the twist at the end somewhat negated that) which obviously would pretty much end the concept of the series. Maybe it will be easier to empathize with them over time, but it kind of feels like a better idea for a movie than for a series to me. Keri Russell is a plus though.

So true although in many cases these days I'd gladly accept "only" getting one "full season" where you expect to get at least some sense of closure. One more good thing about FX beyond the quality is they seem to always at least give it that long regardless of ratings - unlike the old networks where it is getting very difficult to invest my interest.
This could take a page from American Horror story and have a semi-new plot line each season.

This sounds like it could be promising:

Quote:FX has given the greenlight to The Bridge, a thriller starring Diane Kruger (Inglorious Basterds) and Demian Bichir (A Better Life) and from Meredith Stiehm, a Homeland writer known for penning some of the series’ most acclaimed episodes. Based on the Scandinavian series Bron, The Bridge is about a body found on the border of Texas and Mexico and the investigation that ensues. The 13-episode first season will go into production in April for a July premiere on FX.

This news means that Stiehm will likely have to leave the Showtime hit for her new FX series. “I think it’s one or the other,” Stiehm told EW in January about choosing between Homeland and The Bridge. “It’s a high-cost problem. It’s so hard to get your own series but, at the same time, What kind of idiot leaves Homeland right now?”
I starting DVRing Southland and Monday Mornings on TNT. First episode of MM was pretty intense.

I think I'll check out the Americans.
Monday Mornings is dead.
The Americans was already renewed for a second season.
Last night's episode was INTENSE.

My new favorite show. Brilliant Writing.
