Missed following the game. Working getting ready for next two days.

Sounds like great win.

Let's keep things in perspective.

Without DB's emergence this season is completely different. Frankly, I did not think he had it in him. But so very happy for him and the rest.

Shayne is playing into a first team MAC player for THIS season.

But one ankle, one finger poke in the eye and everything changes.

Not a buzz kill.

Simply pointing out what I wrote before. I'm enjoying this as the rest are.
But for this to continue next year and beyond the small minded MAC West centric mentality has to go.

Nobody saw "this" Shayne coming. Many, self included knew Darius could be special but would he?

My point: You can't settle. Nobody knew that this would be as it is RIGHT NOW. You have to be IN POSITION at that moment to take advantage.

But if the attitude turns to: "And this shall be" then you can sched up and not be held hostage by the conference.

You set the tone and make yourself eligible in the mind of the decision makers that you merit the consideration. You dont recruit to win the West or even the MAC. You recruit to beat Gonzaga, the top MVC dog, Clemson, Iowa, Iowa State and Georgetown.

The MAC will take care of itself.

I wont apologize for how things are working out. You dont look a gift Bronco in the mouth. Enjoy.

But if you are going to hang your hat on the stars aligning every generation or two you need help.

Is your glass always half empty?? Just wondering.
This reminds me of the 03 team. Robby Collum was huge for us but we had guys step up after he left (Willis and Snider). Hutch is that guy this year, and I think we have enough to replace him with next year. Pokely can shoot, but we have guys that can be better then what he offers us.
