Georgia State will affect the league, basketball wise?04-cheers
The sbc will still be a weak bb league with improving football that is one level above homecoming game teams.

In other words we will be strong and should be in the finals most years, imo.

I'm ready to be king of the hill again like we were back in the old TAAC days.
Texas State is not a good basketball program.

Georgia State will compete in the Belt.

Texas Arlington can compete in the Belt.

We have lost Denver, MTSU, UNT, FAU, and FIU. We add GaState, Arlington, and Texas State. I don't think it changes the complexion of the Sun Belt basketball all that much. Sure, MTSU is great this year, but year in and year out, GaState can be as good them. Arlington is generally pretty good and replaces UNT nicely in the DFW area. Texas State has the potential to be very good- probably more than FIU and FAU.
Perhaps a net wash?
We didn't use them enough Saturday to get them very dirty.
It os a step down. Nt and middle are better than those teams most years.

I've been following Georgia State since they hired Ron Hunter as their coach. This is his 2nd season and looks to have their program heading in the right direction. His son is a freshman this season who had offers from several Big East, ACC, and Big 10 schools. He was Indy All State player. He is a 6'5" shooting guard that can hit all over the court with a range from almost half court. In his last game he set the CAA conference and Georgia State 3 point made in a game record by hitting 10 3 pointers. He is their leading scorer and will most likely be the Freshman of the Year for the CAA. I think he is averaging 18 points a game. They say he has a high basketball IQ too, which makes sense since he is a coaches son. They have a point guard that is similar to D'Andre Williams. Also they have a player that transferred from VA Tech after Greenberg got fired who is good. They have alot of freshman and sophmore that came from some winning high schools in the Atlanta metro area...some that I'm sure White played against. I think Georgia State will be a contender next season in the Belt.
