Avoid the overpasses in and around Memphis atleast until after the sun comes up. They're all freezing over. 385 has been shut down coming from 240. This on and off freezing rain is getting annoying!

It developed over Arkansas out of basically nothing after midnight. Didn't start in Memphis til around 4.
Around 4, my windows were getting pelted by ice.

Good thing I brought my maters inside yesterday.

They've already happened, ha. 17 on or near 385 as of like 645
Hopefully it'll totally clears up by game time or the crown will suck. I am super scared of driving on ice. Snow...not too bad, but ice...forget it.

You'll be fine...just be careful on the overpasses....temps will be climbing some so it should be fine by time to head downtown. Of course I actually know a fan that doesn't come to games if it is raining. I guess he thinks he will melt. weird.
News Channel 3 Official Fan Page
Olive Branch PD confirming that Highway 78 conditions are slick and dangerous, with accidents and jackknifed semi-trailers in numerous locations (non-specific, too many to list). Extreme caution recommended in north Mississippi, and the rest of the WREG viewing area as well.
The forecast on Weather Underground yesterday morning said ice pellets for today.
I'll be coming in for the game later, so I appreciate the info.
Yeah channel 13 was calling for ice/sleet/wintery mix for this morning all day yesterday.
I went to work, looking to make the BIG money (overtime....lol) and got sent home as soon as we got there. BOOOOO!!!!!!!
Move this, Precedent has been set that safety of Tiger fans is not tiger related and cannot be posted on this board.
